I noticed that Aros Hosted has 3D Support on Linux Hosted.
What video cards are supported?

I think 3D is supported as the native version :-\

I thought HostGL used the Linux drivers internally.

Yes, absolutely. You need to have 32bit libraries installed, though. I have just modified Icaros installation script for the 32bit version to handle this case. Unluckily, this hasn't been released yet:

 sudo apt-get install libxxf86vm1:i386
 sudo apt-get install libxcursor1:i386
 sudo apt-get install libasound2:i386 libasound2-plugins:i386

Do I need to wait a little while?
I will put Linux on this laptop.

HostGL was at some point not compatible to newer kernels.. itís gone. Aeros 3.5 was the last image I can remember where it worked .. it before the abi v1 backporting happened .. so yeah .. see it as tech demo as modern aros software wonít work on it

A few months ago I tried to install Icaros 32bit Hosted on Ubuntu 64bit. I was following an install guide. It required a lot of libraries. After that it wouldn't load. So I gave up on that and went with 32bit on 32bit using Virtualbox.

From what I recall I didn't succeed in getting the 32bit libraries installed correctly. So I never actually got to the point of installing 32bit Hosted.
