I don't think you'll get any negative judgments.. Perhaps this will please all of the people all of the time!

Will you be using a script to enable the change in a single distribution?

The package of new icons will install with one click, same installer used for Blue Icons and White Icons.

The new DualPNG icons in AMiGA AfA One style will probably be the "default" Icons of the next version 2.0 of AROS One, there is a lot of work to be done, about 20 days of work, it involves creating and adapting hundreds of icons.

I attach screenshot with the first icons created, these in addition to being in AMiGA style, compared to the old AROS One icons have a more three-dimensional look.

I've still got good weather here in Nova Scotia so I'm still outside doing chores while I can. I look forward to catching up on everything when the ice gets here (probably in about 20 days!!).

Glinx Thank you I live in Puglia, a Region in Southern Italy, the temperature in winter is mild snow is rare.

Hi,

I had AROS One v1.7 on my Asus Eee PC Network, but did not really understand the installation process. So download Aros One v1.9 USB image and with the help of the Aros HD Installation manual © 2006 Heinz-Raphael Reinke.

The Asus Eee PC 1000H is fitted with a SSD configured with 2 SSD partitions, of 8Gb and 32Gb, I manged to install Aros One onto the Netbook, with Aros on 8Gb partition (DH0) and the Work partition on 32Gb  (DH1).

The system is running very well at 800x600 screen mode.

A great improvement on v1.7, nice woork.

The only problem I have the WIFI is not working, the AROS HCL says change tgecWIFI card to a Atheros 5K.

Would a ATHEROS AR5BXB63 WIFI card be compatible?

Thank you derek for testing AROS One x86, HERE there is all the hardware supported by AROS One, but it works fine as well tested on other AROS Distributions

Hi,

I have just the Atheros AR5BXB36 WIFI card and installed in the ASUS EeePC 1000H Netbook, and used the Atheros 5000 device for the network, the WIFI manager appeared and I was able to scan for WIFI connections.

I entered my SSID password and it seemed to connect. Till I started up OWB, which allowed me to connect to this web site.

I am typing this message in OWB.

Is there a WIFI indicator to show connection is enable and connected?

Also just need to connect to my Linux Raid server on my local Intranet system.

Working great...

I am glad that everything is working well ;)
 
To my knowledge there are no WiFi indicators !
