Hello

one question to our gurus here

there is a new version of mplayer available for X86. Is it also possible to compile it for 68k?

The only 68k version of mplayer (AOS) is very old already

also question about OWB... there was a old version on 68k contrib but is no longer

any reason for that?

Hard to say about MPlayer. It uses a lot of assember optimizations. Once you start disabling them in configuration you start getting compilations errors. Its definatelly not straightforward. Note that the "new" MPlayer is actually almost the same one as the 2012 version.

As for OWB, I don't know. Maybe it was disabled due to time it takes to build.
