this distribution was born for fun and passion for aros stands out from the others for the type of icon set used, there is no hosted solution for this download icaros ;)

new icons for modexplorer :)

I came across a draft of text on aros, thanks to serk we have text2pdf but I could not find a program for drafting the text before doing the conversion because it was not possible to limit the margins where the text was to be inserted, here with simple editor this it is possible, the margins are preset depends on the opening of the window, it is not an excellent way of working but all in all with these two tools we can create text pages in pdf format ;)

Salvo, on AROS we already have many little string management tools coming from Unix, in the Development:bin directory. You might look into them to add line feeds at the end of each "printed" line, in order to better format text before creating the PDF file. This might be a good approach to automatize things a little. Obviously, you need to know text font size and print resolution in order to break lines correctly. Inside Icaros Desktop there is the manual of GNU Tools I have collected some years ago. You may start there to find what you need.
-
thanks paolone then I'm going to check, but I find it better to do this ;)

a background for your tiny :)

I upgraded the mini iso system very light but fuctional
-
with a graphics program you can create the cover of your pdf document and then convert it with rnoeffects to pdf format, in the program menu you going on tools/batch converter :)
-
I have updated the ISO of the system now all the icons are arranged, the applications are enough, there is the essential to draw, make music, see videos, the browser is still functional, from dopus you can listen to mods via command, you can also convert a wave file to ogg and flac is everything
-
I noticed that owb on some computers has problems for example on some sites the images are not displayed, this happened to me with a ha z600 and with another hp elite series, with lenovo no problem :)
-
I use aros for the production of my music, there are some excellent tools that are simple to use, for example with pxdrum I create the drum patterns, export them to wav and use them as samples on audioevolution where after recording my instrument, the rest fantasy makes it
enjoy
-
added on distribution of little video tool framescale, framebuild and avibuild
thank's serk for your effort

Ciao Salvatore, this one looks very nice. I know it's supposed to be a "Tiny" distribution but does it have any software development tools? Do you have a web page/blog where users can preview it before downloading it?
-
no unfortunately I do not have a blog and website, I should be going to do it in the next few weeks anyway at the beginning of the thread there are screen shots of the system and as regards the developmet tools since you asked me I will include them, so they don't take up much space in the final ISO
hi

manuals please!
I have a friend who likes to make midi files,
and I need a good manual.
-
hi
i see this

-
Salvatore,
Now I feel that it is more necessary than ever
a Libre Office in any AROS flavor,
Magazine-type manuals is what we need,
teach new users,
someone is encouraged to make a magazine with me from AROS,
and regarding Tiny AROS I like it but too much yellow is loading it uses an elegant turquoise tone,
A greeting.
-
tiny aros is officially abandonated, icaros desktop is the official distribution, but if you do not take measures for odyssey it is difficult to be able to use it, I understand that it takes time and in any case I do not know what the future plans are, so I am using aeros ;)
-
again is avaible

You can take my most minimalistic background for AmigaOS.
It looks good when scaled, uses as few colors as possible and doesn't look poor.
I redrawn this picture from some wall calendar on my A1200, it was a long time ago.
There is probably an original author somewhere in Japan, but he is unlikely to recognize his picture in makeup. ;D
-
;D ;D
-
new system avaible more programs added see first post :D
-
new system avaible with a little fix by deadwood see first post :D
-
development suite is necessary also for zunearc
-
new iso uploaded do not development suite included only necessary dev libraries for zunearc :)
-
I'm waiting for further updates from deadwood work to update everything afterwards ;)
-
currently i have published on my site the iso with the current deadwood backports, i am using this version without problems :)

@salvo
I like the looks of Tiny AROS. First what is the name od the clock in the top right? Is it DigiClock?
Second is your distro based on AROS 32 bit or AROS 68K?
-
hi miker
the clock and what is in the system by default, the distribution is 32-bit Abiv0 :)
-
if there was at least 64-bit odyssey I could think of doing an x86_64 distribution since now it can be installed on hard disk ;)
-
I look to download this more often.
-
I will always inform you of any updates :)
-
new beta avaible ;)

You do good work! It looks great.
I started a minimalist version of AROS 68k for myself.
I called it "AROS Vanilla" with an ice cream cone background. :)

Hello I agree your Distro but I can not load it on my 6 x86 Pcs... Is it only for VirtualBox?
I burned lots of times to usbs and not mbr/efi problem
I am having sane experience than with IcAros, imposible mission
Can I use Amilator or any other grub to make it bootable?
-
Can I use Amilator or any other grub to make it bootable?
Amilator has a Linux bootloader, AROS uses its own Native Grub.
Amilator uses a FS-UAE emulator, I was one of the first to install it and boot it with AfA OS and OS4.1

Hello I agree your Distro but I can not load it on my 6 x86 Pcs... Is it only for VirtualBox?
No it is not only for virtualbox. It can run on any virtualization software and on almost any native hardware.
I burned lots of times to usbs and not mbr/efi problem
Mentioning USB and burning in the same sentence already makes me very suspicious.
You either burn a cd-rom/dvd or write an USB image. An ISO image <> USB image.
What software do you use to 'burn' your USBs ? And speaking of USBs, what do you mean exactly by that ? Is it a USB dvd-rom drive or a so-called USB-stick (also known as USB-pendrive and/or USB-flash memory).
I am having sane experience than with IcAros, imposible mission
Please feel free to elaborate on what you exactly did to make things not work for you.
Can I use Amilator or any other grub to make it bootable?
AROS uses grub, so there is no need to make it bootable simply because it already is.
What most people do seem to miss though is that AROS uses a native filesystem named SFS, and most if not all software that allows you to write an ISO image to a USB-pendrive does not take that fact into account, and therefor such software will always fail to create a proper booting USB-pendrive for you.
The easiest way for end-users to make that work is by booting the ISO image in a virtual machine (using whatever virtualization software), then attach a USB-pendrive to the VM (and into AROS) and run the AROS installer.
The only thing i do not know is if tinyaros provides a script that allows you to install itself onto another device that way. If it does not then you can work around that by manually preparing a USB-pendrive by installing grub and formatting it as SFS and then copy over the files from the tinaros ISO image.

I have tried several times to install the bootloader and format through installAROS and then copied the contents of the ISO, also copied with Dopus4, the result is always the same "MBR Error 3".

all you need to do is burn a cd, if your computers do not load distribution and just an incompatibility problem, you can always use virtual machines but i have no experience with that, i am currently using beta version and it works fine, amilator it's another thing it has nothing to do with aros x86, it loads OS3 and OS4

revisionated the beta version with ultimate build :)

Too less information to be able to address properly.
USB-pendrive ? size > 128 GB or even > 32 GB or > 8 GB (restrictions on some very old BIOS) ? Do you have it manually partitioned or put a MBR on it manually ?
The usual way: create VM, boot AROS iso, insert pendrive, start installaros, wipedisk, remove-pendrive, reboot aros VM, insert pendrive, start installaros, use existing Aros partitions and proceed with installing AROS.
Don't use a second work partition, or specify a size for the boot partition at your first try.
Wipe disk, then installing grub manually should be enough but then you still need to copy the files from a particular distro manually.

I don't talk about "installing AROS" never had problems to do it :)
I wanted to create a Pendrive "to" install AROS
I have done more votlte the procedure you mentioned with more Pendrive and never worked, the same Pendrive work perfectly if I install AROS

As long as you do that to a USB pendrive....
I wanted to create a Pendrive "to" install AROS
.. then you are doing exactly that :)
Once you have 'installed' AROS to the pendrive, you can then boot that pendrive natively on your machine and start the installaros tool .... to install aros again (to another device).
I have done more votlte the procedure you mentioned with more Pendrive and never worked, the same Pendrive work perfectly if I install AROS
Right now i interpret your sentence as: "I have done this procedure (installing AROS to a pendrive as i magorium described) many times with multiple different pendrives and this never worked for me, but the same pendrive works perfectly if i install AROS to that pendrive (which is exactly the same procedure as i magorium described)"
I am aware that your native language isn't English, so please forgive me for saying so but, i am unable to make any sense of that sentence as i am currently able to interpreted it. If you are unable to express it in detail in the English language then please feel free to write things in your native tongue so that i am able to use a translation service.
But whatever you wanted to say, afaik this does not account for you receiving a MBR error-code 3.
-
The MBR code comes out in one of many attempts, Installing AROS on pendrivers or external USB HDs is not a problem for me, watch my two attached videos:
What I would like to do is what RUFUS or other programs do to "burn" an ISO
I have enough experience on AMiGA OS and AROS OS and I think I've done all the possible tests, maybe my Pendrivers are not suitable at hardware level !

The MBR code comes out in one of many attempts, Installing AROS on pendrivers or external USB HDs is not a problem for me, watch my two attached videos:
You keep writing in riddles my friend :)
I have watched those videos and they are (more or less) showing what i also do to prepare a pendrive. The only thing that i can see is in that in one of those video's you explicitly specify the size of the work partition (which i do not specify for the sake of keeping the process as clean as possible), and in the other you have an addition fat partition. Both can (under certain conditions) influence the boot-process.
Unfortunately neither of those two video's show me the actual native boot-process where you experienced a MBR boot-error. Neither am i able to see in those video's what the AROS installer actually created on the pendrive when you finished the installer (how does the partition (or partitions) look like after installation, for example by viewing the layout, for example, with (g)parted.
What I would like to do is what RUFUS or other programs do to "burn" an ISO
Yes, i understand that you wish to have such a thing but, that won't help you when you experience a MBR boot-error when you boot either an external HD (connected through usb) or pendrive native on your machine, simply because the root cause for your experienced error will not be taken away with software like RUFUS.
Tools like RUFUS are highly overrated, and can't currently be used with AROS. I am investigating how to create a hybrid grub ISO that works for all circumstances, but unfortunately is a slow process for me at the moment. In theory a correct created hybrid ISO can be 'burned' to a pendrive and boot AROS as intended.
I have enough experience on AMiGA OS and AROS OS and I think I've done all the possible tests, maybe my Pendrivers are not suitable at hardware level !
I have literally tried with the cheapest of the cheapest of pendrives (not fake ones though), and i only experienced one failure with an Integral pendrive. Once AROS was finished with installing grub the pendrive was completely ruined, and there was not a tool in the world that was able to resurrect the pendrive. This was not caused by AROS but due to faulty system logic that was present on the pendrive).
It was just broken so, i returned it to the store. I was lucky there because the store had just started selling Integral hardware and as a result were very keen on keeping their (and Integral's) reputation high, so if i could show them my pendrive was literally broken i could swap it for another one. I declined that swap offer, and explained to them that i had lost many valuable files (AROS is very valuable to me ;D ) because of the integral pendrive being faulty and so they offered me a refund and some hush-hush-money (which i accepted).
But, the real issue here for you is that if you claim that you experience a MBR boot-error code, that this can be related to many other factors that you probably did not already consider. For example, even if the hardware i test is reluctant to boot AROS, i then literally tear out all hardware that is able to influence things, flash a custom BIOS or otherwise.
Another reason for me to think there goes something wrong at your end is that (if i remember correctly) you wrote that you experienced the MBR boot error-code on different machines. You could of course be very unfortunate in the choice of your hardware, but i personally do not believe in such coincidence.
So that leaves only one route to take, and that is to figure out what exactly goes wrong at your end. A "It does not work", is not a valid option/reason in my book ;)
-
You keep writing in riddles my friend :)
Thanks for the reply, no there are no puzzles, "MBR code" comes out when I "do not" extract the pendrive, if I remove the pendrive after formatting it and insert it then I get a black screen with a blinking dash

In that video I split the Hardisk to leave space for a FAT32 partition to share with the PC, as shown at the end of the video, however I didn't use "Gparted" but "AOMEI Partition Assistant".
The old videos posted did not give me problems both the Pendrive and the Hardisk worked perfectly on my PCs

Yes thank you, that's what I wanted to have :)

I've been able to resurrect some pendrives with some special tools found by VID/PID discovered by ChipGenius.
I have also found a tool able to delete the small partition that some pendrives have "undeletable" this partition is seen by the PC as if it was a CDROM, this tool also lets you create partitions CDROM
-
Drats, i just noticed we are discussing this in someone else's thread. I am terribly sorry for that (i thought it was written in AMIGASYSTEM's distribution thread).
Thanks for the reply, no there are no puzzles, "MBR code" comes out when I "do not" extract the pendrive, if I remove the pendrive after formatting it and insert it then I get a black screen with a blinking dash
Well, perhaps there are no puzzles for you, but for some reason i have no idea what the conditions are when you experience these issues.
I leave it to that for now as we are discussing this in the wrong thread (again i am terribly sorry Salvo). In case you wish to pursue this then we should do that in another thread. I did provide a response to your remarks though.
In that video I split the Hardisk to leave space for a FAT32 partition to share with the PC, as shown at the end of the video, however I didn't use "Gparted" but "AOMEI Partition Assistant".
As i wrote before: Usually that is not a problem but it can be (under certain circumstances) that the pendrive is unable to boot because of the presence of such an additional partition.
The old videos posted did not give me problems both the Pendrive and the Hardisk worked perfectly on my PCs
And that is where i get puzzled .... If you install it the way it is suppose to be installed then you write that you have no issues, yet at the same time you keep writing that when you follow this process you get an MBR boot error code when you boot such a created pendrive native on your system.....
I am in all honestly just lost with regards to what you are actually doing/experiencing there...
Thank you for mentioning these tools. I am aware such tools exists (i sometimes make use of them as well).
I am aware that there are pendrives setup the way you just described, and which is also able to confuse some BIOS's. For AROS (in combination with most BIOS's) it should come up as a (simple) extended HD partition.

The ISO is not very big so to shorten the installation times, however the minimum of the essential software is not lacking :)
-
I inserted some games in the glow ISO do not need accelerated graphics, I had forgotten that for Aros we have many games to spend a little free time, the titles are:
aleonatales
ami-ingeniuos
hydracastle
powermanga
starfighter
1941
sqxz
gianasreturn
openbor
soliton
tetris
amifish
lopan
xrick
candycrisis
fruit'y

-
Soon load a new Glow ISO, I added Perciman, SQLMAN, Antiryad GX, Freepascal, Memacs and double Dragon Gold for Openbor :)

I added the first modules collection that is located on Archives for those who love these glorious music born on our old amiga :)

I fixed some inesatics on the two ISO Tiny Glow, I fixed some icons in Devs and Storage and then now at the boot there should be no problem displaying the background :)

Just change every now and about the background image that everything seems to be another system
-
I already knew of the existence of a mail provider that gives you the chance to read your emails with our Yam and SimpleMail clients, you should use the IMAP protocol so the latter program, at a cost of 25 euros a year you can open a Account where you include all your providers (Yahoo, Gmail, etc.) and so you can easily read with Aros your mail, alternatively you can always open a free account, a mail address will be assigned to you, the provider is called Email.it and you can also consult in English

I upgraded the ISO, from this moment there will only be a version of TinyAros the one with the theme of Glow Ken's 2.3 icons, I want to keep my distribution more faithful to the system that turned on our old amiga :)
-
I still have to publish it! :)
-
the ISO is ready :)
-
You need to load this DEF_ICONS that I have not included in SYS: prefs / ENV-ARCHIVE / SYS
-
I forgot to insert another icon in the right sizes here you are changing the file located in the games sections :)
-
I fixed some things in the ISO, I added Amicast_Player for podcasts, HollywoodPlayer, a new background and the Widow game :)

Lilcalendar
OWB
Mplayer
Rnotunes "beta"
Rnopublisher
Rnoeffectts
Picshow
Arospdf
Protracker + samples

Framebuild
I also loaded all the music modules of the Anthology series, this change is due to the fact that I want to orient my distribution towards the past
(https://i.ibb.co/nCLw5vr/2-tiny-aros.jpg)
-
I loaded Tiny Light with the new background the normal version does not have the new reason but in these minutes I will load the ISO, Tiny Light differs because the music modules of the anthology are missing
-
I only uploaded a single ISO, it is very small as a greatness so I deleted the light version, on the site you can download some additional applications that originally were part of the original distribution :)
-
Well the next ISO will contain all the best existing software for Aros, I haven't uploaded yet 8)

Timy AROS is beautiful :)
I prefer the classic look and use the Dandelion background, it fits in nicely (in my mind at least) with a simple, classic and elegant look and feel!
I noticed in this thread that you twice decided to stop producing Tiny. Please delete these comments as deep down you know you won't :)
My experience with install was that grub wasn't updated after the installation so I therefore manually adjusted grub config to default boot in native graphics so the nvidia driver was loaded ready to use (without this small edit the vesa driver continued to be used).
-
I have a concern, that is that Odyssey Web Browser is no longer usable with time, however wrapped that Grub does not work after installation, just upload the system again and reinstall it, I refer only to GRUB, I'm glad you like mine my distribution :)
-
I have just seen the extra games download pack on your website. What a good idea!
That made me think about other downloads
How about..
Programming pack
Internet pack
Emulation pack etc etc etc
Then Tiny perhaps could stay tiny and classical, and people download the packs as required.
Just a thought!
-
hi
it's all included in the distribution except for the games
have a good day

Please put the download link on the first post, or on your signature so its on every post! :)
Edit: Just back from downloading the .rar at my local Tim's and I'm unable to extract the iso. Most likely just the download from the coffee stop of choice, but to possibly save me another trip and the temptation of yet another donut, did anyone else have this problem?
-
the iso should be fine :)
-
@Glinx
In order to determine whether or not another donut is required:
md5sum
8a7690092356bd1a60e06a46fedac812 TinyAROS-Live-CD.rar
0af8ba85f2b8de2f7227915298499617 AROS Live CD.iso
@salvo
Simply stating that the ISO should be fine does not actually help.
That is why they invented such checksum tools such as md5sum.
I would advise you to use them. Put the checksum of the ISO itself inside the RAR-archive, and either include a checksum of the RAR-archive itself on your google drive (along the RAR-archive) or on your website.
just 2 cents.
-
Well, I got another donut and a download :)
Didn't really need the donut but I was worried about my blood sugar getting low next year..
Long story short, iso was fine :)
Linux didn't like the .rar (first time I believe) so I unpacked it in aros, copied to a usb stick and burned the image in linux. I couldn't get the frying pan to work probably because of the sata driver I have to use perhaps (I will soon experiment with the ssd attached to a usb header).
Installing it now!
-
Linux didn't like the .rar (first time I believe)
Nice to hear you sorted things out Glinx.
I do believe that the free version of unrar does not support the newer RAR 5.0 format.
I had issues with that myself as well so i finally caved in and installed the non-free package on my distro.
To cushion the blow you could try another donut while installing ... but please wait a day otherwise you'll bounce around all day & night ;D
technical details of he archive:

-
I do believe that the free version of unrar does not support the newer RAR 5.0 format.
On OS3 and AROS the new UnRAR versions unpack RAR 5 archives with ease, the last one I installed on Amiga and AROS One is a porting of UnRAR 6.11, so I assume that also on linux has been updated at version 6.11
http://aminet.net/package/util/arc/UnRAR-6.11
-
Sadly, after many 'skip' clicks during the installation (started on Vim) I returned to the last release. Which reminds me.. a version/release number would be beneficial
-
I think it's your dvd player I have had problems with mine that I changed, ok the current version is the 1.1 you have installed the 1.0
-
In the next ISO I add all the modules of the Anthology collection created with Amiga many years ago, I also include the game BOH freely released courtesy of the author Simone Bevilacqua Aka "Saimo" for those who made a donation for the peoples affected by the last war yes I made a conspicuous donation for the Ukrainian people. ;)

Lovely! Just waiting for a new ssd to arrive :)

published the latest iso with the latest fixes by deadwood there are no dev tools, my distribution is more oriented to multimedia and to the present software, a suggestion since the updates happen quite quickly I suggest to create two partitions, one for the system and extras, one for you example work, just delete the system one without compromising your personal archive
http://tinyaros.flazio.com/
-
published a new smaller iso to facilitate the installation without great waiting, all the best software is available, it is still recommended to create two partitions, one for the system and the extras and one for your personal archives so that a new one installation you just need to format the system partition :)

donate for icaros desktop on patreon i'm doing it was my first distribution and in fact it was the first distribution ever, at the moment I have to worry about other things
All Best
Thanks. I am slowly restarting to work on the distro after a long (but personally needed) break. I feel somehow guilty for people still donating to Icaros and patronising me, I continued downloading files and following AROS developments, but I needed to rest and to focus on other more motivating activities for a while.
I'm sorry to say, but the increase in fragmentation and disagreements within the AROS project, the continued bleeding of amigans and the multiplication of increasingly futile controversies have undermined my dedication to Icaros Desktop. It is not easy to carry out such a project if there is no enthusiasm around, and enthusiasm is something that money cannot buy.
-
I understand you Paolone do as you feel best to do, I wish you the best :)
-
paolone it`s OK we all have our Vulnerabilities! You don`t need to feel guilty. These are hard Times for anybody.. Nobody`s perfect. Failure always is possible. From one Moment to the other anything can be over, We had good Times with your Distribution it is even Famous. You are a human beeing not a robot. It`s hard to fight against frustration. If you can`t achive a goal, do something different. Take the Chance to start something New. My Son commited Suicide.. I still have a daughter I and not everything is fine with her too. Some people make it easy to themselves. Sometimes that is even better! I make it easy to myslef too. Icaros Desktop was to the right extent easy and hard.. YOU ARE A VERY OK Person!
Thank you
-
I am sorry for what happened in your life, I have been sick for many years and I can understand you I have seen death very closely
-
@salvo
Sorry to see Tiny finish. Being a newbie it was easier for me to use and quicker to install. In trying to get my pc settings correct and my trial and error approach, it was reinstalled many times!!
Thank you for Tiny, it was fun and very enjoyable! :)
If you get the time, would you mind telling me how you compiled it from github (or customised it from an iso). I would like to be able to create a minimalist AROS for my needs.
What programmes you used to assist you? And very importantly, how to install the icon set!
Thank you!
Best wishes
-
You have the latest iso available, I have to fix the computer to resume the release of the iso, not abandonment ;)
-
the iso is online is a small iso but there is a most powerfull software no dev tool included, my distribution is multimedia and creative software oriented

@paolone:
Completely offtopic but please have a look at the bold underlined part.
That looks a lot like the word patronizing, which means this (https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/patronizing) which i believe is completely the opposite of what you meant to write, e.g. "patreonizing" or "people supporting me by patreon", "patreon supporters".
Might be a typo but in case not i thought it to be important enough to make this remark about it.
(and yes this was getting on my nerves all this time :P )
@salvo:
btw it is written as distribution, not distibution.
-
ok magorium :)

I have uloaded new iso one with dev tools, one never dev tools with icon fix
http://tinyaros.flazio.com/
-
@salvo: thank you for fixing the typo in the thread title :)
I took the liberty to improve your tinyaros homepage paragraph on AROS a little so that it is a bit more readable in English.
Your original text:
Aros is the API-level reimplementation of the Workbench 3.1 system that worked many years ago in computers Commodore Amiga, currently the X86 version has been available for many years and still the software is brought and written for this architecture, unfortunately it is still not possible having a complete achi subsystem so it is impossible to use it on a computer where you can not select the IDE option from the BIOS, however I personally found valid computers even workstation where I can install it for example I had an HP Z600 and Z400 but an intel core duo 2 is an excellent processor for it, I use this CPU but the software gaps feel unfortunately however the whole community of programmers is working to carry out everything.
My "translation":
AROS is a API-level re-implementation of the Commodore Amiga Workbench 3.x and the X86 version exists for many years now. Till this day software is still being developed for AROS. Unfortunately the AHCI subsystem currently does not support all available hardware so it is not possible to install AROS on hardware that does not support selecting to boot from IDE legacy mode from the BIOS. However, personally, I discovered hardware, which even includes workstations, that is capable of running AROS. For example a HP Z600 and Z400 but also a Intel Core 2 DUO system is excellent enough for running AROS. I use such a system although unfortunately there is still some missing software. The developer community is actively working on improving that situation.
Do note however that i changed some things there that you might perhaps not approve of as i had to interpret what you where trying to say (and made my own spin on that). Also English is not my native tongue.
Take it or leave it, your choice and i don't mind either way :)
PS: thank you for the new version of tiny aros
-
Thank you Magorium
all best :)
-
the cursor still needs to be fixed please patience :)

I have published an alternative iso but that ensures full compatibility

tinyaros has finished its life cycle, I am waiting for axruntime to see if I can create a distribution, thank you all for the support (I don't know if anyone is using my distribution) currently you can download the fully functional 1.9 version , I currently use icaros desktop hosted linux because odyssey is unfortunately becoming more and more obsolete, I have to access some sites that unfortunately are now inaccessible, then I can always use the native aros applications and I will do it because I have fun with them, but at the same time I can start blender if i want, thanks again everyone

Thank you salvo, I look forward to 2.0! :)
I also look forward to getting this years logging season over with so I can get inside and enjoy catching up on all the aros progress from the past couple of months or so. Looks exciting :)

Yes there have been new system releases I think the new Development Tools is the novelty :)

I am thinking of creating a new set of icons taking inspiration from the original theme of Aros, Tinyaros will be available in two Glowicons and standard versions :)

Thank you, will do!
I have to admit, I only like the basic original Amiga icons and desktop. I remember using the old linux gorilla icons years ago and never liked them then! At some point in the future I will use icon exchange to change all icons to those used on the original Amiga, very boring I know, but it will remind me of my youth! ::)

very good glinx

I installed Tiny Aros with the standard system icons, I created as I said before the new ones for applications, I now wanted to create others for the games
