deadwood, on archives.aros there would be to delete the corrupt archive "vsp.lha" (Vintage Song Player - A JukeBox multiformat player) dated 11 Mar 23.

I have already notified the author to replace it, who has already done so, the new archive corrected now with the name "vintagesongplayer.lha" can be found in the "Uploads" section

Vintage Song Player is an excellent program that supports numerous Music files, next few days I will do a review and add some more notes about the supported music files

deadwood, from archive you can delete the news about "grimoriumpdf.lha", at first I had the developer fix the AROS x86 version which was not working (screen resolution not supported by AROS).

After that I found that "grimoriumpdf" cannot open a PDF document because for AROS there is no PlugIn "polybios.ext" , hopefully it will be compiled for AROS x86 as well !

I compiled WildMidi with the latest sources 0.4.5

In the archive I have included the sources and various docs along with my created binary.

As I don't know how the GPLv3+ and LGPLv3 licences work, can this archive be published on archives.aros ?


On archives.aros there is an old version 0.2.3.5 of WildMidi that does not include anything, there is only the binary.

Possibly the old version 0.2.3.5 should not be deleted archives.aros, because this version can be used as a tool in the Icon toolypes.

The new version 0.4.5 cannot be used as tooltypes because it requires the "config file" in the same midi file path, consequently you will not be able to play midi files scattered on CDs, HDs etc.

On aros archive can be deleted "sploinergui-aros_lha" (found on Uploads) because it doesn't work, I already reported the problem to its developer !
