Paolo I noticed on version 2.3 stable that with my version of VMWare 6.07 graphic artifacts when lowering the screen and in some cases even the disappearance of the mouse arrow, this happens when you enlarge the window from the information icon, with the Nightly does not happen. With VirtualBox this problem does not exist any artifact!

This however happens only on my version of VMWare, I can not test on newer versions of VMWare because I have a 32Bit system.

There is a saying "necessity is the mother of invention".

So now we have a working Batch Process for making Colored Drawer Icons. It's a beautiful thing!  :)

But sometimes inventions happen by accident, or at least their use was not intended.

Recently I made several sets of Colored Drawer Base Images which are for drawer1 and drawer2. I didn't use mask templates so even the glow border was transformed during HSL Color Rotation.

Using the New Batch Processing I made a set of icon images and icons. When I processed the Orange Icons I found something interesting and possibly very useful.

I noticed I had forgotten to fix the Glow Border. In every icon it was a very pleasant Neon Blue! What a dramatic effect.

Blue on blue, green on green, or yellow on yellow or even brown wouldn't be dramatic. But what about Neon Blue or Neon Green Glow Borders with Charcoal Black Icons? Or Red Icons with Neon Blue Borders? I only need change the border on one Base Image (drawer2.png) then all resulting icons have blue borders.

Custom Neon Glow Borders with Your New Colored Icons??

@paolone

Just for fun I will collect all the custom drawer icon images from the large set you sent me. I will make mask templates and produce complete sets of colored icon images.

As for a colored icon theme there are additional icon images such as trashcan, etc that could be added to the colored batches.

Yup, I know this project. Running M68K AROS on this would be very interesting.

Why have you locked this without getting an answer is out of my comprehension abilities.

However, the message you read from Icaros is due to AROS imagemagick port, which somehow started showing it when resizing PNG images. I could not investigate the issue, but since it is only a damn warning without noticeable effects on what it should do, I have kept the task for the future. Then I totally forgot about it.

Anyway, please look in AmiStart or in sys:Linux.

1. can you find your Linux programs imported there?
2. can you find Chocolate Doom's icon (or Icaros' default icon for linux apps) there?

Because HostBridge might be heavily distribution-dependant. Icaros installation script handles installation of required packages and components on Ubuntu-like distributions (so: Mint and company), but users of other distros should try to understand what the installation script tries to do and act the like.

So: if answer to question 1 is NO, then "houston, we have an issue". This might mean that hostbridge's scripts are not working on your distro as expected, because some of the needed components are missing.

While if only answer to question 2 is NO, then you just have to check what you're actually importing. hbadd, in fact, expects that you're importing an executable (no link, no batch: a binary executable) with a single-word name. So maybe "chocolatedoom" would work while "chocolate doom" not. Check also spaces in the path and avoid using them as you can.
